Protecting Minors
Carlyle Casino is strictly for adults aged 19 or older. This page shows how we keep minors out and how households can help.
19+ only
Under 19? The doors stay shut.
Under 19? No sign-up, no deposits, no play, and that includes our free daily prize game. Lying about your age at registration breaks our General Terms. We don't aim our marketing at young people, and our promotions steer clear of themes built to attract them.
If a minor is found
Account closed. Winnings void.
Accounts opened by anyone under 19, or a child using an adult's login, get shut the moment we learn of it. Every wager is voided, every winning forfeited. Deposits are sent back to the funding method when legally possible. Adults who knowingly allow under-19s to play lose their own accounts too.
Parental controls
Your devices. Your filters.
Parents and guardians can stop access to gambling sites at home:
- Lock it down: turn on the parental settings already built into each computer, phone, tablet and games console at home.
- Install filtering software that blocks gambling content.
- Use router or internet provider settings to filter sites across the whole home network.
- Require a password or fingerprint before apps can be downloaded or purchases made.
How we check age
Date of birth. Documents. Done before deposit.
Sign-up asks for your birth date and blocks anyone under 19. Before a single deposit, we verify identity, age and location, either electronically or with papers like photo ID issued by a government. Any sign a player is younger than they claimed triggers a fresh check. See the full process on our Identity Checks page.
Shared devices
Log out. Lock up. Keep it adult.
A shared family phone or laptop can give a curious teen easy access. A few habits help prevent that:
- Log out after every session.
- Stop your browser from storing passwords.
- Keep your login details to yourself.
- Secure your device behind a PIN, password or fingerprint.
- Keep payment cards and login details for e-wallets somewhere children cannot reach them.
- Speak openly with young people about the way gambling works and why it is only for adults.
For young people who want to learn more, the YMCA Youth Gambling Awareness Program offers free education and support.
