Identity Checks
Every player is verified before any deposit or withdrawal, since Canadian law demands it and it keeps accounts secure. Here we set out what we check, what we retain and how we respond if something looks wrong.
Why we verify
Know the player. Guard the table.
What is the point of verification? It protects you against fraud and stolen identities, prevents minors from playing, and blocks criminals who would use our cashier to clean illicit funds. We offer games only in places where gambling is permitted, and our checks satisfy Canadian rules on age confirmation, identification and anti-money-laundering. Your identity and your location are both confirmed ahead of the initial deposit, never after the funds arrive.
Records and reporting
We keep records. We report when the law says so.
For the period Canadian law sets, we keep copies of your identity documents, the outcome of our verification and your transaction records. When the law requires, we report suspicious activity, and certain large transactions, to the relevant Canadian authorities. The law forbids us from informing a player about any such report, and we never do. Your Privacy explains how this information is protected.
Identity and age
Show us who you are. Show us you are 19+.
Our first step is an electronic check of your details. Where that falls short, we ask for documents by email. Usually:
- Identity: government-issued photo identification showing your full name and your date of birth.
- Address: proof of where you live, issued in recent months and in the same name. A bill from a utility or a statement from your bank both work.
- Payment: proof that each card, e-wallet or bank account used on the account is yours, with sensitive digits hidden.
Documents must be readable, in colour, fully visible and still valid. Every payment method on the account has to be held in your own name.
Where your money comes from
Big play. Bigger questions.
Big deposits or unusual activity? We'll request proof of where your funds came from. Accepted proof includes payslips, bank statements, sale papers for a property or business, or documents showing an inheritance. We check your explanation thoroughly, and withdrawals may be paused until everything adds up.
When checks fall short
No verification. No play.
A document that's missing, unreadable, altered or out of line with your account details means deposits and play stay blocked and withdrawals stay on hold. We'll tell you what's still outstanding. If we uncover fraud, false information or a minor using the account, we close it, void the affected bets and act as our General Terms describe. Where the law requires, the relevant authorities are told as well.
Sanctions and public office screening
Every name runs through the lists.
Every player is screened against Canadian and international sanctions lists. A single match blocks the account from opening. We also ask if you currently hold high-level public office, held one before, or are a relative or close contact of someone who does. If so, you count as a politically exposed person. Play is still allowed, but your account gets extra checks and needs sign-off from senior staff to remain open.
Ongoing monitoring
Checks continue after registration.
We monitor accounts continuously for warning signs, for example a sudden increase in deposits, money paid in and withdrawn with almost no play, multiple accounts tied to one person, or logins from places we do not serve. Any of these may lead us to request new documents. Checks are also repeated when documents expire or your details change, so please keep your profile current.

One inbox for every document.
